When Warren got back to Miami, he heard a rustle in the hibiscus bushes and knew exactly who it had to be. Mossy exploded out of the leaves wearing sunglasses and an iguana floatie and announced that he had come to learn the art of Miami living.
He tried the beach, the pool, and a Cuban bakery all in one day. At the pool he cannonballed so hard that he bobbed back up like a floating salad, and Wyatt laughed so hard he almost fell over. By bedtime, Mossy was wrapped in a towel, sipping coconut water, and declaring Miami to be a city of snacks, speed, and excellent splash potential.
Before he disappeared into the palm trees, he handed Warren a tiny shell and said, "If you need me again, just whisper that it is mangrove time."
